LaserGas(tm) Hydrogen AnalyserLaserGas(tm) Hydrogen Analyser

Hydrogen analyzer is an essential fuel for industrial processes and can be produced in a variety of ways. In order to ensure the purity of process hydrogen it must be monitored for impurities and contaminates. Many of these impurities are moisture, carbon dioxide and trace methane. These are generated in the production process via steam reforming, partial oxidation and autothermal reforming. These can be controlled by the use of a hydrogen analyser.

Our new solution provides contactless and continuous monitoring of H2 levels and will increase the efficiency of your process controls and improve safety. Powered by proven LaserGas(tm) technology, this inline hydrogen gas analyser can detect leakages and prevent expensive damage to your equipment and downtime.

The sensor is based on a solid-state infrared tunable diode laser absorption technique which measures the light scattering of molecules in a gas sample. The signal intensity changes depending on the concentration of the target substance, which is then converted to an analogue output (typically 4-20 mA) proportional to the measurement result.

This instrument is suitable for detecting simple binary mixtures of Hydrogen and one other gas (O2, air, CO, CH4, etc). The measurement result is corrected to the specific composition of the sample. The instrument can also be equipped to monitor the gaseous composition of a turbo-generator atmosphere during all stages of operation to reduce windage losses, improve generator efficiency and safety.

The sensor is encased in a separate flameproof control unit and is suitable for Zone 1 Category 2G hazardous applications. It is easy to set-up and can be used with a laboratory computer for data logging. Includes English manual, USB charging cable, charger, analyzer case, stainless probe, tubing and USA NIST calibration certificate.
